Welcome and thank you for your interest in "The Lady Nightwatchman Guided Tours through History" in Nuremberg.

The tours on this website are usually conducted in German.

They are also available for English-speaking guests. We offer this service by prior arrangement for groups only.

The motto of the tours is "let history come alive with stories". The Lady Nightwathman is clad in cloak and hat, armed with a horn, lantern and halberd and thus will guide the group through Nuremberg's eventful past.

The tour usually starts at the "Beautiful Fountain" on the main market square in Nuremberg. From there it's leading up to the emperial castle and then back down passing inbetween the most beautiful parts of the old town.

The stories presented are partly funny, informative and spectacular and tell about living in former times in Nuremberg.
There is for example the story of the well known and greatly feared highwayman knight "Eppelein von Geilingen" or the even better known and very much appreciated painter and artist Albrecht Duerer.
